This is a Court-Martial of Staff Sergeant Peasgood who was accused of and pleaded guilty to mistreating, shocking and hitting three (3) Iraqi detainees with an M34 blasting device and stripped them of their clothing. His punishment is a discharge from the service. Two (2) other soldiers were given a general discharge in lieu of court-martial. Soldiers also struck a detainee and pushed him to the ground, placing a foot on top of detainee's chest. A detainee was stripped naked. In addition, the Sergeant's Company Commander, Squadron Commander and regimental Commander were all removed from command due to their failure to supervise and properly train the soldiers under their command.
